AM-5000 Series Surgical Microscope

A preparation guide for trained healthcare teams. Use the operating instructions supplied for your unit and complete the appropriate training before clinical use.

  1. Identify the installed optics

Record the AM-5000 configuration, objective, binocular, camera and any FORA or assistant-scope options. Confirm the supplied setup against the manufacturer brochure.

  2. Plan the handover

Review the AM-5000 introduction with the person installing the system. Ask them to demonstrate mounting, arm movement, balance and locking with your chosen accessories.

  3. Learn viewing and illumination

During training, practise the magnification, objective, binocular and light controls on a non-clinical target. Have any optional imaging modes explained for the supplied unit.

  4. Confirm documentation

Check capture, playback and export with the installed camera. Store the current operating manual and service details where the clinical team can find them.
