A preparation checklist for trained healthcare teams. It does not replace the operating instructions or training supplied with your unit.

1. 01

   Record your supplied setup

   Confirm the objective, eyepieces, imaging system, illumination options, stand and control accessories against the quotation and delivery record.

2. 02

   Arrange installation

   Ask the supplier to confirm the mounting position, balance-arm setup, clearance and power requirements. Obtain the correct assembly and operating instructions.

3. 03

   Learn the handgrip controls

   During handover, review focus, zoom, illumination, capture and electromagnetic-brake release. Confirm which optional functions and pedal controls are fitted.

4. 04

   Check imaging and support

   Use a non-clinical test to practise capture, storage and export. Keep the serial number, operating instructions and support contact with the equipment.
