A preparation guide for trained healthcare teams. Use the operating instructions supplied for your unit and complete the appropriate training before clinical use.
Check every package component
Compare the delivered microscope, suction unit, tubing, filters and consumables with your order. Package contents can change; keep the instructions for each component.
Prepare for the equipment handover
Use the assembly videos to prepare questions for your supplier. Have the microscope and suction system assembled and checked using their own supplied instructions.
Complete microsuction training
Equipment videos do not teach patient assessment or ear procedures. Arrange the clinical training required by your practice and learn each control during a supervised equipment handover.
Confirm consumables and aftercare
Review the approved consumables, replacement intervals, cleaning and servicing with your supplier. Use the current component manuals and the practice infection-control procedure.
